Do we need to be a group of five?
Yes, our houses are all for groups of five.
How do we arrange to view houses?
Contact us online or by telephone or text to 07880 738252 and we will arrange to meet you at the houses you have chosen to view.
How do we confirm we want a house?
Once you have chosen your house, we will meet you there, read through an Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement and answer any questions you may have before you sign the contract. We will provide you with a copy of the contract.
What about deposits?
A deposit is due when you sign the contract. This is protected by a deposit protection scheme for safekeeping.
When can we move in?
Our contracts normally start on 1st September. If you would like move in sooner we can be flexible on the start date, so contact us to discuss.
When is the rent due?
Rents are payable termly in September, January and April to fit in with student loans.
Do we have to pay Council Tax?
No. You will need to have a valid Council Tax Exemption Certificate and provide us with a copy at the beginning of the tenancy. We will send it to Worcester City Council so that you are not charged Council Tax.
Do your houses meet the requirements for Worcester City Council's Licensing scheme?
Yes, all our houses have a License Certificate for Worcester City Council which allows us to advertise through the University of Worcester accommodation website called Studentpad. We also give you copies of current gas, electric and smoke detection certificates (which are provided by qualified gas engineers and electricians) when you move in.
Are your houses clean and well-decorated?
Yes, we have our houses professionally cleaned, including the oven, and redecorated, where necessary, between tenancies.
